There has been a recent surge in automated suspicious looking traffic. However it wasn't the only reason the site went down yesterday.

Bad news. For a big chunk of today theyvoteforyou.org.au has been down. We've had a sudden spike in automated traffic. The problem combined with a performance issue on a particular page. We've blocked traffic and put in place a workaround. Fingers crossed it's all good now. Enjoy!
