Ducks/OSU coverage: "You just pulled off one of the biggest upsets in the history of college football" is one hell of a statement considering Oregon wasn't even in the top 50 for performance against schedule.

Oregon entered the day ranked #66 in the objective performance rankings (Currently #75, as it re-racks every time a game ends). Ducks' performance has felt a lot more in line with that than the opinion polls. And ...fumble!

Oklahoma became the first SEC team of the season to take a loss. They slide to #12 in the current SEC rankings.

James Madison scores and goes to 80 points, the first team to hit the mark in 2026 and the first since South Alabama did it in 2024 (also on September 12th!)

You have to feel good for UMass, a team who can now look at a scoreboard like this and know they're not at the bottom of the FBS any more.

54 years ago today, Fergie Jenkins (Chatham, Ont.) tossed a complete game in the Cubs' 4-3 victory over the Phillies to record his 20th win of the season. The win marked the sixth straight season he had 20 wins. No MLB pitcher has done this since.
