If there's anything the last few years have taught me, it's that to truly live you need to take every opportunity that presents itself to you. Seems obvious really but looking back you might realise you let so many opportunities slip away.

Applying for jobs is exhausting so I started spinning up a side-project with my fiancée, slowly teaching her how to make games, she was adorably excited about putting a squirrel on a tree 🥰 Heading to Hyper Japan in London with her next Friday :)!

Starting to heal, been getting back into indie dev, between working on my portfolio update and playing games with my partner. It is hard but I still consider myself to be extremely blessed. I am looking forward to whatever opportunities I find, to show the world what I'm capable of. Not done yet.

I appreciate all who have reached out to me 🩵 I'm currently reflecting in private so it'll take some time before I respond. Figured in lieu of recent events, I'd share that I got engaged recently to the most incredible woman. It gets better, just impossible to see the outcome till you're there.

I had a lovely day yesterday, listening to sleep token, talking to my partner, working on technical documentation and ended the day with some co-operative puzzle fun in POPUCOM! Led to a moment of joyful tears of laughter which is a priceless experience. 😊

Today marks my 4th year of HRT, just coincidentally landing on the first day of Pride Month. The last few years have been increasingly kind to me, they haven't always been. Patience will reward you I promise. Good things take a really long time, but they are always worth the wait.

I waited a decade for the sequel to Fantasy Life, It's by far my favourite franchise, It's such a wonderful blessing to be able to experience videogames. Really excited to explore more!

Sometimes advice with the best intentions can be so damaging, even if it's directly from professionals and experts. Letting go of some of those things I've been led to believe to be "right" has been so freeing, they're not right for me. After 28 Years of desperation I finally found peace of mind.

"Need to get into a habit of posting more frequently so people know I'm still alive." Proceeds to not create anything or make any posts for months 😭 Here's some pictures of my QK80 MK2

"It's not possible anymore to promise anyone a safe career in the game industry, if they just work hard enough, have enough of a portfolio, or pursue the right education. It is however possible to promise that anyone can be in the game space as artists, exploring what the craft means to them. "

i posted “Why making art matters: We no longer have a type of industry where we can chase financial success. We can only sustainably fail.” to @itch.io too! it’s already got a few thoughtful comments 😌💕 itch.io/blog/913864/... i do appreciate how this ended up being meaningful to people. #GameDev
