Spaceballs: The New One: The Teaser Poster. In theaters April 2027.
Thank you so much for all of your happy birthday wishes. Honestly, I don’t really feel 100. I feel pretty good. I feel like I’m only 98!

SPACEBALLS THE TABLE READ! It’s hard to believe we’re making another Spaceballs. It’s harder to believe Mel Brooks picked us to write it. So grateful to be working with this amazing cast and crew. This is beyond my wildest dreams. It probably goes without saying, but MAY THE SCHWARTZ BE WITH YOU!

My best wishes to the cast & crew for the first preview tonight at The Garrick. Go out and do do that voodoo that you do so well! @theproducerslondon.bsky.social @nimaxtheatres.bsky.social
I think I first met Alan Yentob when he came over from the BBC to interview me for an episode of ARENA titled “I Thought I Was Taller: A Short History of Mel Brooks” around 1980. He was so bright and warm and engaging, I immediately knew I had found an important friend.
So sorry to hear about Charles Strouse. I worked with Lee Adams, Joshua Logan, and Charles (who we all called Buddy) on a musical starting Ray Bolger, ALL AMERICAN, in which he wrote the unforgettable song “Once Upon A Time”.
This week only you can get the e-book of my memoir, “ALL ABOUT ME! My Remarkable Life in Show Business” for only $2.99! (So my advice is to buy it, and then maybe sell it for $3.99…) t.co/duOTgAzi4h

Huge congrats to the cast and crew of THE PRODUCERS at The Menier Chocolate Factory. I can’t wait to see you continue your splendid work at The Garrick in September! www.instagram.com/reel/DGust8X...
I was privileged to know Gene Hackman because he played tennis with another Gene—Gene Wilder. And that Gene told him about a little role called The Blind Hermit in our movie YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN…
David Lynch - A huge and sad loss. A remarkably unique and very talented filmmaker. It was such a truly great pleasure to work with him. If his name was in the credits, you knew the film was really worth seeing. I will miss him.
So very sorry to hear about Teri Garr’s passing. She was so talented and so funny. Her humor and lively spirit made the YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN set a pleasure to work on. Her “German” accent had us all in stitches! She will be greatly missed.
I don’t have a cat, so a dog will have to do! But like Taylor Swift I’m all in for @KamalaHarris & @Tim_Walz ! #VoteBlue Double check your own voter registration and find local early voting dates here: http://vote.gov
Tomorrow on @TCM is a full day of the films of Anne Bancroft! I might be biased, but my favorite is TO BE OR NOT TO BE (1983), because I was honored to be her co-star. What a glorious time we had!
Very sad news today. I’ve known a lot of nice people in my life, but nobody nicer than Jay Kanter. If you knew him, you loved him. He was more than a legendary agent. He was a loyal friend, always there when you needed him. I know it’s a cliché but in Jay’s case it is just so…
I want to thank the wonderful audience who came to the @peacock_theater on Saturday night to see me and celebrate the 50th anniversary of BLAZING SADDLES. You were such a great crowd that I’m still walking on air!
Only one day left to buy your tickets! Join me tomorrow in person to celebrate the 50th anniversary of BLAZING SADDLES! http://bit.ly/MelBrooks2024
When BLAZING SADDLES premiered in 1974 at the Pickwick Drive-In in Burbank, most of the audience arrived on horseback! I'm doing a live appearance after a special 50th Anniversary screening at the @peacock_theater on July 27 at 7:30pm... but please leave your horse at home!…
Attention Los Angeles! I’m doing a live appearance on July 27th following a special 50th Anniversary screening of BLAZING SADDLES on the big screen at The Peacock Theater. Tickets go on sale tomorrow! http://bit.ly/MelBrooks2024
Thrilled to hear that “Remembering Gene Wilder” is now streaming on @Netflix!
Thanks so much for all the congrats on my Peabody Career Achievement Award. I really appreciate a prestigious organization finally taking a funny man seriously!
Attention! Attention! This week only a chance to get a deal on the funniest book ever written—no it’s not The Old Testament! It’s my one and only autobiography, ALL ABOUT ME! The e-book is on sale for $1.99 through 3/17. (What a steal! I bought two myself.)
