Why Do I Ache? Orufrey fic description. Text as follows: No Archive Warnings Apply, Olruggio/Qifrey (Tongari Boushi no Atelier, Olruggio (Tongari Boushi no Atelier), Qifrey (Tongari Boushi no Atelier), Pining, Loneliness, Olruggio feels like he's being so selfish for wanting anything more than he already has, Emotional Hurt/Comfort Olruggio pressed his cheek harder into his forearm. Tears gathered on the bottom of his eyes again. "I have no right to feel like this, Qifrey." His dark eyebrows tensed, face crumpling again. A sob wracked through him. "I have no right. " Something cold and ugly twisted in the pit of Qifrey's stomach. He tried to push any words out of his throat, but they stubbornly stuck against his teeth. Qifrey finds Olruggio poured against the floor of the inn they were staying in, grappling with the ache of loneliness.Qifrey clutching onto Olruggio from Witch Hat Atelier. Olruggio seems to have been knocked out or is sleeping against Qifrey, the top of his head tucked in securely just under Qifrey's cheek. One of his hands is gently curled against the other's chest. Olly has lost his cap. Qifrey is staring directly at the viewer. He's lost his glasses but he is desperately holding onto Olruggio with a tight, clawing grip. He doesn't want to lose the other. The tassel on his cap swings around them as Qifrey's cloak covers Olruggio protectively. There's a gold halo or medallion behind them. Lighting coming from the right. A watercolour paper texture has been overlaid on them.A concept from my sketchbook for a potential Orufrey piece from Witch Hat Atelier. Olruggio (left) and Qifrey (right) face away from the viewer so only the backs of their heads and shoulders are visible. It shows their necklines and the push of their necks. Olly's neckline is shorn, with it going into a longer cut as it moves up the back of his head. His neck is thin, from overworking and undereating. The neck of his robe is loose across his shoulders, and there is the beginning of a dripping star motif across the back. Qifrey's curls get a little more unruly at the back of his neck, and his neck isn't quite as thin as Olruggio's, though the vertebrae of his spine stick out from his skin. He isn't healthy either, just in a different way. The back of his robe is in a V shape, hanging off of him. There is the beginning of delicate leaf motifs intending to be embroidered in the fabric. Between them, nearly hidden in the construction line colour, is the memory erasing spell that Qifrey has adapted.Pen and ink drawing of Olruggio from Witch Hat Atelier walking through several doorways. There is various vegetation and silverwood roots climbing over or forming some of the doorways. Olruggio is walking through, deeper into the archways. His cloak and hat is blowing in the wind as he walks willingly deeper. The same memory erasing spell seen under Qifrey’s cap looms over top of Olruggio.
