St Philip's School is a special education needs school for young people aged 9-19 in Chessington. The school encourages students to become as independent as possible in all areas of their lives, both in and out of the classroom. Here is some feedback the school received at the end of this year:

St Philip's School in Chessington prides itself on its ability to support learners to become as independent as possible in all areas of their lives. The school was delighted to receive this feedback from one of the parents at the end of this academic year and at the end of their time at the school.

Dysart School's Outreach Lead was delighted to build links with Signature at Surbiton who are building a new care home opposite the school’s main site. They discussed ideas for possible collaborations including running a café at the care home, singing carols for the residents and work experience.

During History lessons the Primary department at St Philip's have been learning about 'Explorers'. To learn more about Ernest Shackleton and his journey in Antarctica, learners took part in a Build to Learn workshop and built these models. With thanks to the Rotary Club for funding the workshop.

🚐 Dysart School's brand-new minibus went on its first adventure taking learners who will be leaving the school on a residential trip. Alan Bird of Century Financial Planning, who had funded the minibus alongside Variety Golf and Friends of Dysart School, helped wave off the intrepid explorers.

Nightingale Community Academy celebrates its recent Ofsted report ✨ The team of inspectors visited the school in April and reported back that excellent, consistent work is making a real difference to learners in most areas and the school is doing everything it should in the remaining standards.

💫 Trash to Treasure Fashion show raises money for great cause💫 Students at Bedelsford School took to the catwalk to showcase clothes they had designed using recycled material. They also organised fundraising activities including a raffle that raised over £700 for the Katie Piper Foundation.

New Sunshine Minibus for Dysart students 🌞 🚐 Dysart School were absolutely thrilled to pick up a brand-new minibus thanks to the generosity of @Variety Golf and Friends of Dysart School. Post-16 students told the golfers how much they were looking forward to going in the new minibus.
