Dol op dit: @okimpala.bsky.social werkte jarenlang aan een romhack voor Final Fantasy Adventure, om zo een eigen vervolg in elkaar te zetten. Het resultaat voelt als ie ts dat Square in de jaren '90 had kunnen uitbrengen en draait zelfs op een Game Boy. www.unpause.nl/verhalen/act...

My review is: Final Fantasy Adventure is one of my favorite—if not my ABSOLUTE favorite—Game Boy games, and Embers of Mana makes it completely redundant and unnecessary. It just clears its inspiration in every way. This is the “real” first Mana game for me, now. If you like Mana then play it.

I am about 3 hours into this and it is EXTREMELY well done. I love the original Seiken Densetsu and this is not just a love letter to that but the entire Mana series. I think this will be a ROM hack people are talking about for a while to come.

Beat Final Fantasy Adventure tonight! As a huge fan of Secret of Mana this was such a fun little adventure. I heard there is this really cool ROMHack called Embers of Mana so, I might need to try that out now!

Mystic Quest est un jeu qui compte beaucoup pour moi. Pouvoir vivre une nouvelle aventure dans son décor et en lien avec son histoire, avec Embers of Mana, était un réel cadeau. Et au-delà de la nostalgie, le jeu, peaufiné, regorge d'excellentes idées ! Quelle aventure Merci @okimpala.bsky.social
