Claiming that more sheep is the obvious solution to Ireland's wildfires is as much a rejection of science as claiming that increasing carbon emissions would solve climate change. The IFA never misses an opportunity to substitute ideology for evidence.

The Dublin Lord Mayor wants to ban legal e-bikes from all GAA club grounds?! Populist banana politics at its finest. Legal e-bikes help people leave the car at home and make active travel accessible. This is a spectacularly stupid notion.
At the current "pace" of delivery, it would take roughly 150 years before Dublin City Council's long-promised 300km Dublin active travel network is completed. My letter to the editor this morning.
