There will be an election for the council on 7th May. There are 12 seats up for election. Would you be interested in becoming a parish councillor? If you live in Old Marston or within 3 miles of the parish boundary you can stand. More info on the attached poster or you can contact us directly.

Just a reminder that the community market is back this Saturday (21st March) from 10am to 1pm at Mortimer Hall. Entrance is free and everybody is welcome. We have various stalls, including some new ones, as well as hot refreshments and cooked food. We look forward to seeing you.

Several of us are organising an Art Day for local artists to showcase their work, sell anything and maybe do some activities to engage visitors. The next OxClean litterpicks will be Saturday 7th March 2026, meeting outside Mortimer Hall at 10:00, and Saturday 14th March 2026 meeting the playground in Croft Road Rec. Litterpickers and sack provided - just turn up or contact us for more information.

The Marston Speedwatch group are looking for volunteers who would be interested in helping monitor and report speeding and dangerous traffic in Marston. You will be provided with speed monitoring equipment and training. Contact Kate for more information: cllrkrobinson@oxford.gov.uk.
