Old Spirits Investigations

Two dads, living their best life, while investigating the afterlife. The official account of OSI Paranormal Investigations, now playing at https://youtube.com/@oldspiritsinvestigations

Sometimes, an investigation can stall out. It particularly sucks when it happens at a place like the Hinsdale House. @theteemonster putting final touches on our weekend’s premiere. Get a sneak peek at what’s coming to YouTube this Saturday night at 9PM ET USA.

So far, it’s not “Is Hinsdale haunted?” but more like “Why is this place BUILT this way?!” More paranormal shenanigans happening online with @oldspiritsinvestigations as we look back on the weekend’s special event! And maybe…a return to Appomattox? Here we go!

When reviewing footage on a livestream, it doesn’t hurt to point out flaws that might have an impact on your findings. Calling an audible today, and cancelling today’s stream as I have a tour and a presentation this week to prep for. I will return tomorrow but today is a “Work Offline” kind of day.

It happens every time. Every. Single. Time. Have you ever wanted to wrap up for the night, and this happens? Tell is your story in the Comments! One final pass with our investigation of @linvillemanor1852 and some casual chatting with @stevesaylor is happening now! Come on by!

Sometimes, the spirits just want to avoid the limelight. Our @theteemonster loves @linvillemanor1852 so much that he wants to make it bigger than the Conjuring House. Thing is, the ghosts present like things the way they are. A new footage review session is now happening so come on by!

Some investigators (and even a few debunkers who dabble in investigation) have multiple sources capturing audio and video, but you rarely get results from those multiple sources. We believe if you can offer an audio capture on several devices, it can easily be debunked or — even better — confirmed!

Investigation with a team is awesome, but real magic can happen when teams collaborate. As @theteemonster reaches his end of review from @linvillemanor1852 he offers thoughts on OSI’s own experiences with @studytheparanormal and how they influence other investigations moving forward.

What is something that makes you go “Wow!” while investigating the paranormal? We have been at this for 5 years and what never gets old are those direct responses. Whether it is “Could you step away from the REM pod?” or “Could you do that again?” the reactions that follow are always mind-blowing.

When people ask “When are you the most scared?” @theteemonster always replies with the same answer: Footage Review. This is when the shadows talk back, when something stirs in the darkness, and when you find out you’re not alone. And you caught it on video.

Whenever engaging in outdoor paranormal investigations, the chances of a close encounter exponentially increase. Or at least that’s what @dontturnaroundpodcast tells @theteemonster This has Tee wondering WHY Phil is so eager for that visitation…
