Thomas and Sarah (1979) – I'm guessing this is how John Alderton got the Fireman Sam gig. In fact, “Bloody hell fire!” would've made a good catchphrase for Sam.

Just finished an unauthorised biography about Ringo, and there’s quite a few stories about his experiences making Shining Time which I’ve never heard before, courtesy of Rick Siggelkow. Never knew he lobbied for Harry Nilsson to make a guest appearance (1/2)

Mr. Walter Richards' son and successor, Richard Richards, was not very popular with the engines... Richie: "Hey, Patrick, take me to Devil's Back. There's a gale up there - I might get a really GOOD BLOW!" *snorts* Patrick: "If he makes that joke just one more time..."

The RWS has been out of print for a while now, so I really like the idea of groups commisionning reprints of books that are dear to them. Great job R&ER Railway - hope other heritage railways with TTTE links follow suit!

Not much of a gamer these days, but I had to download Wonders of Sodor. I love it! Amazing graphics, so true to the spirit of the series Dovetail Games deserve all the praise they're getting and it's so pleasing to see 'classic' Thomas being recognised once more

As well as the late, great Mr. Baddeley, Dennis and Gnasher (1996) also starred Kerry Shale. Mainly providing Gnasher’s growls, but he uses his ‘Diesel’ voice for a few one-off characters.

The short run of episodes featuring the Trotters' Liverpudlian cousin were found to be so funny at test screenings that they were considered a public health risk and had to be wiped. Only a fragment of the opening titles remains.
