RIP Angelo Farina, who developed the sine sweep technique used widely for IR capture in convolution reverbs amongst other things. A few weeks ago we also lost Dave Malham, a former colleague who developed HOA/Ambisonics theory in the 90s, and was a friend of prof Farina. Audio Engineering legends.
