Like I really need y’all to learn that being black is a lived experience. Being black IS cultural but it is also how you are perceived moving through the world without your input or feelings or cultural upbringing. It’s if someone looks at you and sees a black person and reacts to you accordingly.
This goes for the “part Dominicans” who want to call black people “monkey” outside of the club too. Being racist when you’re drunk and think you’re a little black so it’s okay is mad weird and you deserve to get your ass beat!

I know a lot of people don’t ~want~ to hear this but just being Puerto Rican actually ~does not~ make you black. There are LOT of Afro-Latino’s in Puerto Rico who ARE black, but simply BEING Puerto Rican does not mean that you are black because MAYBE at some point it was mixed in there.
