Ya know, small portable CRT screens don't draw as much power as you might think... you could make it bigger the old way and use a magnifying lens. Why give a shit about image quality when you can have something cool? In a dual-monitor setup, you only really need one good monitor.

I haven't really been very social. I've been binge watching some shows I wanted to watch.

I just need hiking boots, a frame bag, print maps, and campground reservations, and I'll be all set for my trip in September. I don't know if I'll need a camping stove.

I was working on my frame bag, but I did the settings wrong, and I'm honestly really bad at sewing. The seams ripped immediately. Maybe I could do a leather one.

Got a tiny bit more work done! The unicorn is my personal favourite and a few others' at the moment, so I had some motivation to work on him. I also decided on a horse breed. The moose was the people's favourite, but I don't really know what body shapes to go with. Any suggestions?

Pivoting my DIY trench coat idea towards a waxed canvas rain poncho in a trench coat style. Possibly with a nylon lining. I think a dark brown would be most appropriate. I'm not too good at clothing topology, but if I could get it to function as a tarp and bag cover as well, that would be perfect.

I don't enjoy clothes shopping. I want a long-sleeved, cream, mostly linen, or hemp henley or polo shirt. Possibly with buttons for rolling up the sleeves and maybe pockets. A long-sleeved merino wool shirt in brown. And a merino, polyester, or both flannel over shirt in red/black. No cotton.

More progress today!!! The boys are looking good. I really enjoy giving characters a country of origin, especially when it pertains to the animal chosen. The goat is a demon... so, I chose an area where there'd be cryptid sightings of him.

Some horned boys! They will all be beefy/buff and have furless hairy human torsos as per my current mood—minotaur style. Even these are still a WIP.

Not many can, but I'm glad that I can look in the mirror and gush over how attractive I think I look fresh out of the shower. Hit myself with a "goddamn" or two. Also, combing your hair back while shirtless gives an amazing chest anatomy reference to ogle. 🤤

Give me beefy minotaurs! Goats, Bison, Deer, I don't care! Just men(or women) with hooves and horns! Fuzzy animal legs and heads, but just a hairy human torso and arms.

Today's Air Quality Index is kinda crazy.

This is my old digital camera. It's not great, but I plan to use it for my trip. I think the 4:3 aspect ratio at 720p/30fps and mechanical zoom in the playback audio will be quite nostalgic. It also still has way better natural colour accuracy than whatever bullshit modern smartphones hallucinate.
