The Shores is a significant improvement over the previous DLC, The Backstage, offering a much more interesting gimmick (underwater diving) for the level. That said, I would still argue The Shores doesn't hit the heights of the first two games, particularly in terms of level design.

DLC #13: Little Nightmares III: The Shores Base Game: Little Nightmares III Developer/Publisher: Supermassive Games/Bandai Namco Entertainment Release Year: 2026 Played On: Nintendo Switch 2

Aviary Attorney is exactly what it sounds like, Ace Attorney with birds (and also set during the French Revolution). It's humorous, well animated, and has an excellent soundtrack. I just wish the game was significantly longer (as it only took me around 5 hours to see all the game has to offer).

To reiterate something from my previous thread that I think is worth its own post too I recently graduated with a Master’s in Urban Planning. 2.5 years of study and hard work have paid off, and I’m so pleased that I have this degree. I look forward to seeing where it takes me. 🏙️ 🥹

Good morning from Moynihan Train Hall in New York, where I am preparing to board an Amtrak Train headed north…because it’s time for another travel thread! This time, I’m spending one night in Buffalo, NY 🇺🇸 and five nights in Toronto, ON 🇨🇦! 🧵

The actual free upgrade pack only adds enhanced resolution and frame rate, which is good but unremarkable. What's more exciting is the sheer number of additional rulesets that have been added after the game's launch, such as Bonus Bricks, new minifigures, and additional rulesets.

DLC #12: LEGO Party! - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition Base Game: LEGO Party! Developer/Publisher: SMG Studio/Fictions Release Year: 2026 Played On: Nintendo Switch 2

I’ve seen a lot of crazy turns in Mario Party/Mario Party-like games. Kai here in LEGO Party getting not just two Golden Bricks in one turn, but on CONSECUTIVE SPACES might be one of the craziest turns I’ve seen.

Fortified Zone is an unremarkable shoot'em-up/maze game hybrid that fails to make any lasting impression beyond the fact that the individual levels are nonlinear. There are far worse ways to spend 30 minutes of your time, but even this game's successor, Operation: Logic Bomb, was more interesting.
