Ryan’s Recommendation(s): “Titanic” (1997) Yes, it’s amazing, yes it’s epic, yes it’s kinda surprising that it was the highest grossing film of all time. But in the interest of humility, I want to remind you that that Jimmy C. won Best Director and received no nomination for Screenplay. #FilmSky
Ryan’s Recommendation(s): “The Terminator” (1984) Jimmy C.’s real first feature, introducing concepts and preoccupations that would dominate his science-fiction output. Plus he racked up two ex-wives in the process, one from the present, one from the future. #FilmSky
