Countries keep telling us to start our own businesses. It makes their unemployment figures look so much better. Then they wade in and fuck over all small businesses, time and time again, to punish us for working for ourselves instead of selling our labour to make someone else richer. Every time.

First the new US tariff laws, then the wildfire and thinking I'm losing my home, then the EU ppwr laws. My brain is telling me to"die lol" and is panicking but another part is "wait and see" and get more documentation to assess everything. It just sucks honestly. I just wanted to sell cool stuff.

something i learned at the xiv panel yesterday is that when you meet whomever from sqnx and give them a little trinket or wol sticker, those things often wind up in a special part of the sqnx office just for them, so that devs who don’t travel for events like fanfest can see and love them too. 🥺

So I found a new source of stress while being in vacation. There's apparently a NEW regulation in EU called PPWR and everything I found is very confusing to read. It's for using recyclable packaging but it's a goddamn headache??
Our current stay is basically eating, napping and sleeping so that's cool. We planned basically nothing and just do what we think we can during the day. At least I'm resting a lot ❤️
