I have not been this poor of a student since high school. In high school I was being driven to suicide by my mother's literal encouragement & my father was trying to force me to "dress in a way that made him want to look at me more." The school did nothing. Last night, I told my younger daughter that I needed to take a grippy sock holiday. Then, I had to explain it to her. It was then I realized I needed to take a day off. Not sure if I can take a mental health day, but illness is always a good excuse. I honestly feel a bit better now. #mentalhealth
