My Necromunda Ratskins now have goblin green bases, 90s underhive stylee. Six more to add to this war party. Trying to manoeuvre miniatures around this old scenery took me back to games of Necromunda where nimble dexterity was most definitely a required skill.

Everything completed so far for my 40k second edition Ultramarines. Went full on 90s aesthetic and goblin green bases in June. No regrets 😀
Post your favourite 40k Warhammer kill team, wrong (right?) answers only.
When your terminator sergeant is a fan of early 19th century Spanish artwork. #warhammer40k #midhammer #miniaturepainting #tabletopwargaming #bloodangels #spacemarines
Captain in Terminator armour finished today. This means I've completed at least one of every HQ option from the Codex 😀
Bit of Mercenaries tonight. No DLC. No live service. No having to be online. No lootboxes. No half finished game. No pay to win. Just blowing shit up any way you want to.
Some more peasant levy and archers for Barons' War. Plastic kits by Wargames Atlantic from the starter box. I will get the two starter retinues completed eventually.
When you don't want to mortgage your internal organs to afford an original 40k Tarantula so you build your own instead 😀
Made a start on a Viking warband for Pillage. Lovely plastic Viking kit by Victrix 👍
Another eBay restoration completed with this 40k second edition Marneus Calgar. There's something infinitely satisfying about these old miniature restoration projects 😀
First tactical squad for my 40k second edition Ultramarines finally completed. When this is all done and dusted, I'm never painting yellow trim ever again.....
Some more 40k second edition tomfoolery this week. Chaplain and Librarian added to my Ultramarines and Plague Marines given some new 90s style basing 😀
With the Armies of the Commonwealth book now out for Bolt Action, I've started stripping and repainting my Australians that I painted in 2018. Five Jungle Infantry finished as a test to get the colour scheme sorted.
When Warlord Games announced they were releasing plastic weapons teams for Bolt Action, I was rather intrigued. I picked this PAK40 up at the store opening earlier this month. Excellent kit all round. I added two kitbashed kneeling crew because I can never really build kits without tinkering 😃
More reinforcements for my second edition 40k Ultramarines. Plastic Terminator squad from 96/97. These were bought painted in about 12 layers of paint and was quite the restoration job. Always enjoy bringing new life to old miniatures 😀
A showcase of everything I painted earlier this year when I was throwing streaking grime over every miniature I could find. youtu.be/UZnY7_fQE3s

Another second edition 40k bucket list miniature painted - Eversor assassin from 1997. The weather has absolutely battered my painting time recently. This afternoon I learned that painting 90s style hazard stripes on Terminator power fists in 30 degrees is deeply unpleasant.
31. 31 degrees and rising. Genetically, I'm not built for this.
As it was too warm last night to paint, I decided to go through all my copies of White Dwarf. My main period of collecting was between 1992 and 1997. 1993 and 1995 are complete and I only need to find 8 copies I've misplaced over the years for rest. 1991 after that as that's the year it began 😀
My Chaos chaps are also getting the 90s style overhaul too 🙂
It's certainly been a while but there's a new video on my channel all about my 40k second edition Ultramarines project 👍 youtu.be/vtGAyM_mNVU

Had a few days off this week, so I was able to make some progress on my 40k second edition Ultramarines. Tactical Combat squad added and the Dreadnought has been given a second edition aesthetic update. Last pics are everything so far 😃
Attaching this banner made me swear for about 10 minutes without repeating myself......
In a thread yesterday, I mentioned that 141 was my first copy of White Dwarf. This is the oldest copy I own though, bought from a friend because I loved the article about Ork Madboyz. The 'eavy metal back page....absolute perfection.
