One thing that WCW did well with their partnership with NJPW that AEW hasn’t — having Bobby “The Brain” Heenan be a shill for a NJPW. Someone “inside” the brand that put NJPW over as superior. That was fun.

CMLL having weekly sell outs in Arena Mexico really isn’t surprising once you see the sheer amount of talent they have. I can’t afford to keep their regular subscription, but I never regret tuning in for their bigger events or crossovers.
Home field/promotion advantage. While *I* would like to see more CMLL/NJPW victories at FD (including title changes), bookings are influenced by where the card is taking place. Should never be 100% in any direction no matter where it’s taking place, but the wins will favor the “home team.”

I’ll chime in and say I give a big shrug to the idea of doing two tournaments a year for the same belt (or a Cup? Idk. Idc.) Matches will rule. No doubt. But that’s almost a given with any tournament involving this roster. Didn’t have to be for this belt. So yeah a big meh. #AEW

Bad wrestling shows have too many hours. Great ones don’t have enough hours. The correct response is to not watch the bad wrestling shows, but people who are paid to watch all of them don’t get that choice, and thus want to make it our problem they don’t enjoy their job.
I made a post in the bad place telling AEW to bring back the rainbow powder and bisexual crowd lighting. It broke containment and gained the most traction out of any of my posts. I’m glad they embraced the rainbow colors again. Now, about that powder effect and bisexual lighting…
