Having a great time with the Order of the Sinking Star demo! It's not the paradigm shift that The Witness was for me, but clearly its whole "worlds collide" premise will be a huge payoff further into the game. Anyway check it out, it's great!

Having a great time with Mina the Hollower, and I reckon the choice to not have an ever-present map makes the game so much better. You can really feel how much more thoughtful world-design they had to do. 👇

Finished Stephen’s Sausage Roll today. Easily the hardest game I’ve ever completed - an epic and uncompromising challenge. And as someone who makes hard games myself, I respect how good your game has to be for players to stick with this level of difficulty

#pelicanEmpyrean has a newly polished demo in Deckbuilder Fest! The gameplay's ever present lure of food is almost a cheeky sleight-of-hand, to provide a point of focus for your conscious mind while your subconscious does the deeper work of growing and managing magic. Check out the demo on Steam!

I gave a game design talk at a local high school today. Was great to share 20+ years of my journey from Klik and Play to Flash to Construct, Game Maker and Unity. So many years of experiments and prototypes before ever releasing anything!

After finally playing through Disco Elysium I was hungry for more unique narrative games. So finally played through Norco and now Kentucky Route Zero. Both take a lot of patience (esp KRZ), but deeply rewarding and artful experiences
