This happened to all of us: for the follow-up appointment, the reception spends 2 minutes searching before a slot can even be suggested. We're tackling this problem with the monthly overview in OpenReception.

We are now natively supporting Windows Hello (Windows 11). This way most practices can use OpenReception without any extra software/hardware. Passkeys are the future of authentication. With biometric unlock they become very usable.

One of the main problems we see for the adoption of OpenReception is the integration with a practice management system (PMS). However, that's quite a tough nut to crack. Until then, we're offering small copy buttons...

We're just cracking the last tough nuts and then we'll be ready for the pilot phase shortly. By the way, this is what the notifications will look like that the practice staff will receive. This way, appointment requests won't be forgotten in the endless expanses of a calendar:

Only a few features left until the pilot phase. 💪 Practices don’t have to accept every appointment—they should keep control over their schedules. That’s why appointments can require confirmation. The practice can then accept or decline an appointment.

OpenReception is not only encrypted (Privacy-by-Design). We are also making sure patients can decide what happens to their data (Privacy-by-default). This is why we let them choose to get e-mail confirmations and updates. They just have to tick a box:
