Over two days, I played Halloween-themed DJ sets. Honestly, I’d never actually done Halloween in Japan before. I assumed it was a Shibuya cosplay fest for a few. Seeing it up close as a global event, shared across cultures, felt like my first real Halloween. I finally got why so many people love it.
