Every time i have to add toggles to my avatar i end up lamenting how many clicks it takes to just add some simple stuff. A couple weeks ago i threw together an NDMF tool of my own that generates DBT-friendly toggles. Feels good to just drag and drop stuff, takes seconds due to large drop targets.

So its been 4 months since i moved basically everything off of vercel/supabase/etc onto my little locally hosted instance hidden behind a VPS. All I can say is that it was definitely worth it. Builds are super fast, and i have full introspection into what's actually going on

Took ~10 hours of work to rewrite all the things from vendor-locked solution to an open source and self/hostable stack, not too bad tbh. While not as ✨ magical ✨ - it is nice to have insight into every part of the system

Unity 6 added some based buttons, apparently No longer do you need a custom script just to have the game view follow the scene view - now you can take over any camera and easily position it in the scene by flying around in the scene view :chefkiss:

Me out here straight up Yandare-deving. Playdate is too constrained to run ODIN's built-in json decoder, so I have to use Playdate's built-in one. And I'm too lazy to write a reflection-based procedure to assign the values back. So now its just this, mistakes are being made on live television

Finished reading Project Hail Mary. It was pretty good. A little sad I did spoil myself on how some stuff looked based on shots of the movie. Wonder how I would've imagined some things without that (e.g. Rocky), but I'm glad I picked it up.

Straftat continues to be the most fun you can have with up to 9 other people. Every single time its an absolute blast, just grab the "more strafts" mod in r2modman to paly with more than 4 people

Finally moved away from vercel for basically every project but tlx.dev (that needs some extra infra I'm yet to set up). Fully self-hosting everything with a little VPS to proxy all the traffic. Feels nice to not depend on some big company for personal projects, ngl
