Academia and Biopharma 101: Presider / Travel Support Application (2026)

We are currently seeking students (undergraduate or graduate) who are interested in presiding over the "Academia 101: Launching Your Lab" and Biopharma 101: Transition to Industry" Symposia and Panel Discussions that will be held at the Spring ACS Meeting in Atlanta (Wednesday, March 25 2026: 8 am - 12 pm & 2 - 6 PM PST respectively). Presiders will introduce speakers before their talks, make sure talks remain within designated time limit, and moderate questions from the audience. Please indicate your interest on this form by 11:59 pm PST March 2, 2026. If selected, your registration for the meeting will be reimbursed (including a one-year membership to the Younger Chemists Committee and the Divisions of Organic and Medicinal Chemistry if not already a member) and you will also be automatically eligible for a supplemental travel grant. The organizers will reach out to you starting on March 3, 2026 if you were successful in your application with additional information (and you will need to accept your award by no later than March 9, 2026).
