What a superb day yesterday. As part of @originalgcg.bsky.social annual seminar, I went walking in the footprints of giants - mainly Iguanadonts. Between Pett Level beach & Fairlight Cove, I observed dinosaur trackways, tail marks, bone beds, fossil wood and ripples ⚒️🪨🦕 @derbyuni.bsky.social

Yesterday I attended the annual seminar of the Geological Collections Group @originalgcg.bsky.social to learn about putting our collections to work. I presented a poster on @derbyuni.bsky.social collection: emphasis on our unique holistic approach to making our specimens accessible to students.
