The Horobi player was also a White Guy Who is Obsessed with Japan. Japan t-shirt. Literally just got home from Japan. 'So, Horobi is a 4/4 that costs 4. 'Four' is 'shi' in Japanese, which means 'death' so it's perfect for Horobi, a ha ha ha.' That's nice, Scott, are you finished with your turn?

I'm still in disbelief over the second game I played last night. I'm on Coram, so of course I end up in a pod with a Shelob player who randomly has a PLANAR VOID in their deck and plays it early. By the time I could deal with it, I was basically dead on board. 😪
I just won a game in the oddest slash coolest way: Collective Inferno naming 'God,' which combined with Dictate of Twin Gods means I just blow everyone's face off by casting three creatures.

I was sleeving up Osgir for EDH Night tonight when I discovered I have a Mondrak and Elspeth, Storm Slayer just laying around, and Osgir makes tokens. Yes, I would love to turn one Artifact into four. Let's gooo.

THIS Social functions are kind of like Commander games - anything more than 4 is probably gonna be a nightmare. I would much rather do a nice, intimate drink or meal. Maybe 'intimate' is the wrong word, but you get what I'm saying.

Going for a run on a 65 degree night with 85% humidity is a strange experience. The breeze feels spectacular and I'm sweating in places I didn't know you could! (Also, my friend is hosting karaoke around the corner, so I stopped by, gave him a sweaty hug, and got lei'd.)

Yep, I spend a lot of time quietly grieving who I was, and what life was, and who other people were before the pandemic.

I was looking forward to S2 of #CapedCrusader because I heard we were getting a new spin on Poison Ivy, instead, we got 'Rose' and 'Thorn.' I'm super bummed.
