Today is my wife & I's 19th anniversary. We aren't ceremonial at all, so we had a normal day--no presents--but we did keep congratulating ourselves on having gone to marriage therapy in year 5--where we learned we did truly love each other--& then doing the work to grow & communicate better.

I have about 7-8 Orioles caps, and I put one on every single time I leave the house... have for years. Today when I went grocery shopping, I wore an old Nashville Predators cap. I didn't want to be seen in Orioles gear today.
I was wrong. Anger was my first stop and it feels like I'm going to be here a while.

I didn't think they'd actually do it. I can't believe they did it. What a punch in the gut.

I should clarify... if they trade Adley to an AL East competitor, I will probably go to angry before I get to sad. But I will still be sad while being angry. He's one of the most likeable athletes I've ever seen.

I know he had an error recently, but I still think Pete is Gold Glove worthy at first base this year. What a great signing. Just a perfect Oriole.
For the record, "Waiting out the starter and then letting them score a bunch of runs against us" is also a non-viable post-season strategy.
