I had an idea for possibly making my own sort of Halloween decor piece for home yesterday… then I went to the art store, considered materials they had available + what I already had, now a collective several-plus hours later… xD I hope that this does actually fit on our door, haha

I’ve ultimately decided that I’m not doing MFF after all ^^; Without being in the DD, could I make it work? Sure, *technically* yeah, but I’d rather not tank *as* much of our savings that aren’t specifically intended for fun/“vacation”-type things. If only because I don’t really take those, woops xD
I finally had a heart-to-heart, sit down convo with mom about our polycule/relationship dynamics we have at home (all positive & great!), and at the end of it, she goes: “Ooooh, okay, I got it straight now.. wait, no, NOT straight, but—“ with a tiny aid eye and smirk Girl, if you weren’t my mom xD
Apparently MFF could still be an option for me, even with not getting into Dealers (&otherwise being clueless on how Artist Alley stuff goes) Who all is heading to Furfest this year? I think that folks going would especially be my deciding factor (on top of not being anxious going by myself, teehee)
Haha, figures that I apparently got selected for the MFF room lottery (all the way out from Wednesday-Monday, at that), but I didn't get into the Dealer's Den :P I don't see myself trying to make attending work because of that, otherwise that would be pretty cool to get that long to attend again.

I try to implement more intentional "for fun" scribbles before bed, aiming to make it relaxing and quick but then I still take it too seriously by putting more of my all than I originally intended into it, and also stay up way too late, blaaah xD At least the doodles make me pleased, but still, haha
I will never not be tilted by snacks/treats not having a single-serve option available to purchase xD I'm not surprised at it at this point, but MAN It's especially with Oreos I sulk over this concept. I WANT to try this Apple Pie flavor, but cannot be trusted having a whole pack in the house!!
I think that I will apply to MFF dealers for this year to see what happens. But, I can't lie: adding up an estimate of what I'd need to try to earn to at least break even from travel, lodging, etc remains to make my jaw drop xD Gonna see if I even get accepted at all first before worrying, haha
