Hey! It's been a while! Last people heard from me on Socials, I was opening comms to cover my cat's vet expenses

Well it's been a few months since then. 2026 has been SUPER busy for me. I've had a lot going on in my life. But this isn't about that, this is about cats, comms, bills, and tips

In early March, my boy Cheese passed away. We tried our best and sank a lot of money into his care, but he wasn't improving. We had to make the difficult choice to put him down at only six years old. However, Cheese was more than just a pet to me, he acted more like an unofficial ESA (emotional support animal). I heavily depended on him to help my mental health, and intense feelings of lonliness.

So only a week after Cheese's death we ended up bringing home another cat. She stood out immediately as the cuddliest cat at the shelter. Her name is Zoomie, she is 12. And due to being a shelter cat, she has health issues we need to deal with. (Dual ear infection, teeth issues, underweight). All Ko-Fi tips still go to vet bills! Zoomie now has her own instagram page too!

EMERGENCY COMMISSIONS- damn cat bills are expensive

This is my cat cheese and hes sick :( but you can help!

we took him to the vet to get some rashes + scratches checked out, along with the test and bills for treating those, his urine also flared. he needs more tests to find out if his organs are okay

the bills for the initial testing were already over $500 usd. adding in medication brings it closer to $600 and we still need to check his organs

both my mom + I are on disability, and my dads income can be inconsistent. with ssi, ssdi, otc, and food stamp cuts, our paychecks are already being docked. we cannot afford to fully lay off the vet bills
