Open Source for Science Fund

@os4science.org

The Open Source for Science Fund is a multi-donor fund by Renaissance Philanthropy dedicated to sustaining and evolving the open source software stack that underpins science.

Our inaugural call, Open Source for the Life Sciences, drew hundreds of proposals spanning a wide range of biology disciplines and computational approaches. If you use agents or AI models as a scientist, open source software is what makes it possible.

Thank you to the hundreds of teams who submitted letters of intent to our inaugural Open Source for the Life Sciences call. We are energized and inspired by this response. Notifications and invitations to submit full applications are now out. 1/2
