For me, one of the few highlights of 2025 was finally making a game. While it was stressful at times to do a game jam on top of a 9-5, it was also incredibly fulfilling to make art. In 2026, I hope to create more. Even though I write for myself, I’d be honored for you to read it. 🙇 Happy New Year!

In 2017, the U.S. government used a cover of music from Yoshi's Island DS on one of their websites, presumably without permission, as the music was removed immediately after this was publicly discovered.

This is right in my wheelhouse, but I haven’t been following it very closely. One thing that struck me as interesting is that Palworld’s announcement (June 5, 2021) may have rushed Nintendo and Pokémon Company to announce Legends Arceus in August 2021, specifically showing the capturing mechanic.
