It was a huge relief when I actually saw the context for that Hank Green clip. I know he was using AI as a search engine to find real articles and papers, but that's nowhere near as bad as just pasting a conversation with ChatGPT into his script.
We really need to stop parasocially projecting all of our opinions onto people who agree with us on most stuff, and feeling betrayed when it turns out we don't agree on everything. Finding someone who agrees with you on 98% of things and harassing them over the 2% is extremely petty and unhealthy.
I don't have much practice with sentence mixing, but I did my best.
