Green Shield insurance eliminated per procedure caps for their Gender-Affirming Care benefits, inclusive of SFU Undergraduate and Graduate students! 🔔 Important note! If you graduated in June, you can still submit claims until August 31st up to the 50k maximum! 1/2

UPDATE TO GENDER AFFIRMING CARE PLAN! SFU GRADUATE STUDENT SOCIETY HEALTH & DENTAL PLAN UPDATE EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY: Per-procedure limits have been lifted from GreenShield GSS plan. No additional premium. Changes are in place now and next academic year. KEY CHANGES: Lifetime Maximum Increased: $10,000 to $50,000. New Benefit: Up to $1,000 for Transportation & Accommodation (50% co-pay). Expanded Eligibility: Gender Dysphoria to Gender Incongruence. Benefits Available Now & Next Policy Year (Ends August).
