honestly despite being engrishy in certain places and having a lot of typos/errors the ff7 ps1 TL is one of the better TLs of that era it still gives you the story the way its presented in the japanese version which is not an easy thing to do with some of the unhinged dialogue this game has
btw cid is actually like the funniest character his language is so over the top that the way they handle him in the TL is perfect (unlike barret) never in my life have i seen someone utter "クソッタレ野郎ども" all together like that
