The Frighteners (1996) when Agent Milton Dammers tries to block out Lucy’s angry screaming (which makes him physically sick) by turning on the car radio and it’s playing Sonic Youth’s cover version of “Superstar” by the Carpenters. (see video from 2:40 onwards)

Name your fav use of licensed music in a soundtrack.

Stupid Lore Sunday The Deathwatch is an unusual organisation, even by Astartes standards. They are not really a chapter in the traditional sense, rather they are the order militant of the Ordo Xenos of the Emperors Holy Inquisition. 1/

Privates Patty Bell & Lucius Wright grew up in the same hive, got drafted together & lived through boot camp together. Some soldier buddies get matching tattoos. These two always get their hair dyed the same color. (I was quite productive despite the heat) #Nerdlings #JHBackdrops #WarhammerCommunity

Two imperial guard soldiers with pink hairstyles, dark brown uniforms and military green armour. They’re holding Lucius pattern Lasguns and the one on the left has a Trench club.
They’re both made from older plastic Cadians kits mixed with arms from the Krieg range.

New recruits coming in! Okay they’re not that new but they’re kitbashed. I usually prefer heads with helmets 🪖 but these really add a lot of character. #Nerdlings #WarhammerCommunity

Two grey plastic imperial guard soldiers with lasguns. One is holding a trench club in one hand.
The arms with the Lucius pattern Lasguns are taken from Krieg sets.

Lina's question of the week: What is your favourite scale, if you have miniatures/kits in various scales? If you only have minis in a particular scale, do you prefer larger models, average ones or smaller models? #nerdlings

Strictly speaking, according to the rules currently in effect, these soldiers are now decomissioned/unemployed. I hate that the current Codex doesn’t allow you to field all your older models & even some of the newer ones (Krieg Watchmaster with Bolter). #Nerdlings #WarhammerCommunity

Sergeant with Bolter. I can only use him as a Confidant for Kill Team.
He’s a veteran of the Ork Wars goddammit. Sergeant Ripley with Bolter.
My first female soldier.
I still use her for Kill Team regularly.
A fucking hero. Heavy flamer guy that could be used in command squads.
Not anymore.Long Las guy. He is very reliable in Kill Team but only Krieg can use Longlas in 40K nowadays.

Headcount for my late 3rd edition plastic Cadians (containing some metal minis). Two platoons (Command Squad with three 10 man squads each) bringing me to 70 infantry models not counting the four heavy weapons squads.

Hello everyone! Many of you likely saw this image recently with the Apple TV+ 'Neuromancer' promotion. Some know, others don't, but this artwork is mine, created alongside actor & post-production artist Milton Menezes, as a personal project and a homage to the original Neuromancer romance

Got me another box of old plastic Cadian Shock Troops, so I don’t run out of parts for more kitbashed soldiers. I even managed to snatch the 2021 version with the hard to find accessory sprue. Time for a headcount to check out which kind of soldiers I should recruit. #Nerdlings #WarhammerCommunity

There’s still an original price tag from a warhammer store on it that says 35,-€ . Luckily I got it for less than that.
