Inspired by the magic of Lewis Carroll, who used the looking glass as a metaphor for entering a surreal, unfamiliar and reversed world, 'Looking Glass' is a soundscape both mysterious and playful. Also on the programme on Wednesday is music by Stravinsky, Dvorak, Copland, & student Alexander McNamee

On Wednesday 24 June, 'Looking Glass' brings together the Adler Quartet, Ensemble Isis, the St Anne's Camerata, and conductor Alpesh Chauhan. This new composition from Anna Clyne explores  light as it reflects and refracts, bounces and shimmers, bends and dances. www.music.ox.ac.uk/event/anna-c...

We're looking forward to this piano masterclass this afternoon! In this unique format, the students and audience have the benefit of hearing two approaches to technique, interpretation and style, rather than a traditional master-apprentice model to the masterclass.
