There is no vantage point from which to watch your own non-existence. Or is there? I would love to hear your perspective on this. #life #death #existence #consciousness open.substack.com/pub/ozakan/p...
Whatever Death Is, It Happens to No One
You have rehearsed not existing every night of your life. You just weren't there to notice.

I don't sleep well the first night when I travel. I thought it was me. Sleep researchers describe a "first‑night effect": on the first night in a new environment. Part of the brain essentially stays on "night watch," as if it hasn't fully decided the space is safe.
What if we build a portable, proof-based reputation network on AT Protocol for technical practitioners? Your standing is earned through useful work ranked transparently by usefulness, and owned by you rather than by a platform. Would you be interested? #socialnetwork
The higher you sit, the less you hear. Power flows downhill. Honesty has to climb back up. You can soften that slope, but you can’t remove it. The work is making honesty cheaper to send uphill. How do you do that? #leadership #management
Why doesn't @anthropic.com post on @bsky.app ? It shouldn't be that difficult to replicate what they do on the other platform.
Read it in five minutes, use it this week — one page each for the problem, the model, the practice, and your first 30 days oz.akan.io/map #management #leadership

You can’t rush real truth from your team: Role, Range, Drive, Horizon, Fears—each rung is earned by how you show up, not by brilliant questions. It’s the energy your people stop wasting on hiding #management #leadership #startups #peoplemanagement oz.akan.io/newsletter/w...
A Ladder, Not a Checklist
Most management advice treats knowing your people as a list of questions to ask. The Truth Ladder is a sequence. Each rung is the price of admission to the next.

I had five to complete this week's 20. I ran that. Then my daughter asked me to join her, and we did sprints after this one. I thought I couldn’t run another mile, and once again I was reminded that motivation makes people do anything. #running #motivation #daughter
I finally let my Claude sessions talk to each other. You can replicate my setup, details below. luminary.blog/techs/agent-... #claude #mac #a2a
Agent to Agent: A Shared Inbox for Claude Code
How I let my Claude Code sessions message each other without a server, a socket, or a registry — just JSON files dropped into an inbox and a hook that reads them at startup.

Your Report Isn't Difficult. They're Afraid.
By the time a working adult brings fear to a job, they have compressed it into something the workplace will accept. The manager sees the currency and misses the fear.

Most Managers Know the Work. Very Few Know the People.
Most managers can tell you what their people are working on in thirty seconds. Ask what those people want or fear, and the silence starts.
