Every wood set deserves matching storage. 🪵✨ Sophisticated Storage now automatically generates Chests, Barrels, and Limited Barrels for compatible modded wood types, so your storage can finally match the rest of your build. No compatibility addons required.

Storage network blocks can now be customized in the Decoration Table, just like barrels. 🎨 Apply materials to Controllers, Connectors, Links, I/O, Inputs and Outputs to make them fit your build perfectly.

New Mob Catcher Upgrades for Sophisticated Backpacks 🎉 Capture mobs directly into your backpack, transport them wherever you want, and release them later from the backpack inventory. Captured mobs occupy storage space based on their size, health, and hostility.

✨ Sophisticated Item Actions now integrates with Sophisticated Backpacks! 🎉 Deposit and Restock actions can now trigger Deposit and Restock upgrades inside backpacks on nearby storages. No more dropping items from backpacks to deposit them with action.

✨Stonecutter, Sawmill, and Chipped upgrades in Sophisticated Backpacks and Sophisticated Storage just got some nice QoL improvements! Expanded Results View with search, recent crafted results, and automatic input refill for smoother crafting experience.

✨Sophisticated Item Actions now supports contraptions from both Create and Create Aeronautics. Highlight, Deposit, and Restock can all be used directly with storage on supported contraptions, letting you interact with moving inventories just like regular ones.

Sophisticated Item Actions now includes a direction bar for Highlight mode. If highlighted storage is behind you, around a corner, or hidden behind walls, the bar points you toward it and shows the distance to the closest one. Makes tracking down storage much easier in larger builds.

Sophisticated Item Actions now has compatibility with Refined Storage (added recently) and Applied Energistics 2 (just added in the latest update). Highlight, Deposit, and Restock work directly with Grids / Terminals, making quick interactions with storage networks much more convenient.

Sophisticated Backpacks just passed 200 million downloads. Still feels unreal. What started as a small idea turned into something used in so many worlds and modpacks. Thanks to everyone who’s been using it, reporting bugs, and pushing it further ❤️

One more update today: transfer hotkeys are now in 🎉 They work the same way as the transfer buttons in the UI, including Shift behavior (filtered vs full transfer). Also works in the new Sophisticated Inventory Interactions mod in non-Sophisticated containers.

Just released Sophisticated Inventory Interactions a new mod that brings Sophisticated-style inventory QoL to more screens: quick search, sorting, fast transfer buttons, and player inventory sorting. Built to feel lightweight, familiar, and modpack-friendly. 🎉

Sophisticated Backpacks just got improved resource pack support. Custom models can now render on the player’s back, block outlines match the model shape, and there are a few more tweaks to make life easier for resource pack creators ✨- here with Luna’s Create-styled backpack

✨ Item Actions just got a small but satisfying touch. When you Restock from or Deposit into a chest, it now briefly opens and closes - like it reacted to what you did. No gameplay changes, just clearer feedback that makes remote inventory actions feel more grounded. 📦✨

✨ Given overwhelming feedback in support of this change, Sophisticated Storage blocks and tier upgrade recipes now use levers instead of redstone torches. This makes Sophisticated Storage usable earlier in the game, before you need to find redstone underground.

I’m considering replacing the redstone torch with a lever in Sophisticated Storage recipes, so storage blocks can be crafted before players find their first redstone underground. Curious what you think – good QoL change or nah?

✨ The Void Upgrade just got a new Storage Overflow mode 🗑️ Items are only voided if they match the filter and can’t fit into any slot, even if multiple stacks are already stored. Gives finer control over when items are actually destroyed. 🎉

Quick update on Sophisticated Item Actions mod. After the initial 1.21.1 release, the mod is now ported to 1.20.1, 1.21.4, 1.21.5, 1.21.8, 1.21.10, and 1.21.11 🎉
