i live in a world where i say "hello what can i do for you today?" and "would you like a receipt?" far more than i get to tell my friends, wife, and family that i love them. i think it is absolutely fucked that this small facet of capitalism and retail work is supposed to be normal
like, just being active and involved outside literally made me go "hmmm I wonder if this shit that I have to mostly pay outta pocket for is actually just another scheme to get more money out of me under the guise of helping me" it's fucking predatory. I know it's not the case for everyone tho
the mental health medication system is inherently fascistic and capitalistic as fuck because you are sold pills that repress all your emotions while not given affordable and proper help to regulate yourself mentally. having a support network and time outside literally did better than any meds I had
