The best legal analysis of our Reflecting Pool case arrived & it fit on a postcard! The transgression is clearly there & filmed for all to see … prosecutors haven’t moved on it in 32 years Forrest & Jenny remain at large -TN

Missouri voters just blocked a Republican-led effort to raise the bar for passing citizen-led constitutional amendments. Under current law, ballot measures require a simple majority for passage. Amendment 4 would have required ballot initiatives to win a majority in each congressional district.

BREAKING: New Mexico’s Attorney General Raúl Torrez has sued DOJ for access to the Epstein files. This is the lawsuit I’ve been waiting for. In my view, New Mexico’s Attorney General has the strongest case to force DOJ to turn over the Epstein files. ⬇️

BREAKING: In 2019, SDNY prosecutors persuaded New Mexico’s AG to shut down his Epstein investigation by promising to share evidence of state crimes. Two weeks ago, SDNY U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton broke that promise. Today, he was confirmed as Director of National Intelligence.

The election EO appeal is about whether the fedl gov’t can change the rules of voting shortly before the midterms & whether SCOTUS will apply its own precedent consistently. BIG: Kansas just rejected a ballot measure that would have required state Supreme Court justices to be elected rather than appointed by the governor — dealing another setback to Republicans trying to overturn a decision that established a constitutional right to abortion.

"Reluctantly," a federal judge dismisses the Oath Keepers seditious conspiracy cases. Trump DOJ "excuses criminal acts that caused a centuries-long pillar of our democracy—the peaceful transfer of presidential power—to buckle." "The court cannot write a different ending," he adds. buff.ly/NvVKnaW

This is the last of the prosecutions seeking to hold accountable those responsible for the events of January 6. That book is now closed. Today’s epilogue diminishes the gravity of that day, denigrates the work of the prosecutors and law enforcement officers who secured these convictions, and excuses criminal acts that caused a centuries-long pillar of our democracy—the peaceful transfer of presidential power—to buckle. The court cannot write a different ending.

Capital One has asked a federal judge to dismiss a lawsuit from the Trump Org. over the closure of hundreds of bank accounts in 2021, arguing that the shutdowns were the product of a monthslong anti-money-laundering review — not retaliation for the Capitol riot, as the Trump businesses have claimed.

NEW: A federal judge just scheduled a trial for March 2027 to determine whether the potential Paramount-Warner Bros. Discovery merger violates antitrust law — a timeline that could further delay the deal.

🚨BREAKING: Nearly a year after voting advocates launched a campaign to prevent a GOP gerrymander from taking effect in Missouri, Secretary of State Denny Hoskins officially blocked the citizen-initiated referendum on the new map from appearing on the ballot. www.democracydocket.com/news-alerts/...

Missouri blocks anti-gerrymander referendum from November ballot in attempt to silence voters

Voter advocates are expected to immediately challenge the move and ask the courts to ensure that Missouri voters have the final say on the map.

A conservative policy adviser and a former Trump White House press secretary accused Max Miller of domestic abuse. A Republican Senator called him “a danger to my daughter.” For how long will Congressional Republicans dismiss fellow Republicans to protect one of their own?

RAJU: Sen. Moreno is calling for Max Miller to resign. Do you side w/Moreno? THUNE: It's a family matter &, um, I don't have any observations beyond that Q: If a member of Congress is facing domestic abuse allegations, should they continue to serve? T: It's a House matter. It's a family issue too
