This is my first proper Warhammer figure almost finished! This nasty Plague Marine is going really really well, he shall make Nurgle proud
I played some introductory Kill Team with Laura tonight! We ran through the tutorial missions in the starter set, and her Angels of Death thoroughly stomped my Plague Marines to bits. Had fun though!
I've also painted these pirates from Dead Men Tell No Tales, I'm having a lovely time at the paint station this week

I painted a bunch of Dwarves tonight, for the board game The Dwarves, based on the book The Dwarves. Dwarves.
I actually finally played The Silver Bayonet tonight! Solo scenario, using Hellboy minis instead of napoleonic era soldiers, thematically fit really well. I even won with MINIMAL casualties!

We laughed about this for a LONG time, and each year would rediscover this clip and lose our minds all over again :)
A year to the day, and I still think about Jeremy every day. I miss playing weirdo games together, I miss talking horseshit all day. I miss hearing about the latest horse drama. I count him as one of my best friends, and the space in my life he used to occupy still feels so very empty. Love you, bud

I played Monopoly yesterday and didn't hate it? What's happening to me...
My crankiest old man take is that referring to all art/entertainment/journalism/criticism/comedy/advertising as “content” helped pave the way for broad-ish acceptance of AI slop.
So my miniature terrain attempts have borne fruit! I made all of this! Quite a few things i would do better next time, but for first attempts, i am very very happy with this lot, really good enough to play an actual wargame with.
