Are pro-AI broa so high on their own product that they really think they provide an essential service, w/o which society would crumble? No, we don't need more AI generated slop. Yes, we're perfectly capable of doing EVERYTHING that LLMs can do. (Since they're just trained on what WE can do.)

Essentially, they created joint ventures that incur the debt of their spending & they lease the resources. The last company to do this at scale? Enron
Elon Musk says he got "a little carried away" with DOGE. I'm in a meeting in Thailand w/Jesuit Refugee Service showing how "a little carried away" has starved tens of thousands & displaced millions from their lands. But hey... At least he got to be a trillionaire for a while, right?
