hhhh really don't like the deployment of the word "ethical" here. Reading dark and fucked up fiction with bad and evil things in it isn't "unethical," nor are books which contain no such dark themes more "ethical" in nature. This is Hays Code rhetoric, it's the kinda shit Moms For Liberty would post

One of my Twitter accounts was hit by a biometric verification page sooo if I ever stop posting on my main Twitter or this Bsky account... you'll know what happened! I'll be on Tumblr and... Instagram I guess (until they adopt bio verification there too lol).

The third episode of the Vampire Lestat is the best one yet, wow! The showrunners are really hitting their stride with the new tone, now. Toronto doesn't deserve to be the setting for it, mind you, but otherwise I'm really excited to see how the rest of the adaptation plays out.

it's actually common practice in the industry to always give a menu of options bc the client gets irked if they can't choose, and to make sure you like ALL the choices you offer bc inevitably the client will always pick the most boring and least interesting concept and now you're stuck with it

The prevalence of AI art has already made it abundantly clear what we already knew: that many clients and employers have no taste and don't give a shit about quality. But I'm starting to think that the note-givers were only ever doing it to assert dominance.

Shocked to see some artists saying that using ai slop as reference is ok. It's really fucking not. Not only are you still using the mashed-up uncredited work of the rest of us artists, but it degrades your whole visual library because it hallucinates. If you do this I do not respect you
