Did you know? The Museum's Apatosaurus was originally displayed with the wrong skull. Because this dino's remains were incomplete, a speculative skull (based on a different sauropod—Camarasaurus) was sculpted. As new research emerged, it was updated.

It's Trilobite Tuesday! Some trilobite fossils can only be fully appreciated after skilled preparators have completed their rock-removing magic. This includes the spinose Middle Devonian genus Radiaspis from the fossil-abundant Moroccan Lagerstatte, which could grow 1.6–3.1 in- (4–8 cm-) long!
