Pretty book acquisition. The last MDZS edgeprinted deluxe version from Seven Seas is finally out. I don’t think I like this set quite as much as the one they did for TGCF but it’s still very pretty!
Remember CDs? Went digging in the basement today for some of my most obscure treasures. ❤️
@marifanaccount.bsky.social have you seen these MXTX hairpieces yet? So so pretty in person! (And hualian shoes!!!)
My two-day MDZS haul. Yesterday, merch from the stage play. And today I found acrylic standees at Animate Shibuya. 😍😍😍
Thank you to @marifanaccount.bsky.social for sharing the info about the MDZS stage play! We were fortunate to be able to see it in person!
An old college friend called to say there was an estate sale near her with a bunch of old books and would I want them sight unseen? The answer to that is always yes! And behold, a haul of classics in beautiful hardcover with slipcases! I haven’t sorted through them yet but there’s some gems!
Birthdays with grown up money are the best. ❤️ Plus someone who’ll custom sculpt and paint a Pikmin monster for you, too!
Some new and old books, representing 30 years of reading / book collecting. ❤️ I started re-reading the Last Herald Mage over the holidays and falling in love with Mercedes Lackey’s writing all over again. Hoping for more beautiful deluxe books like “Grandmaster” to add in the future! ❤️🎠❤️
New reading glasses, for reading yaoi only. 🧐 The acrylic glasses stand was unexpected but delightful for the 2 minutes I got to enjoy it. It was promptly claimed by my kiddo for her own glasses. And now she wants the LWJ glasses for herself so I guess I need to place another order. 🫣
I did not buy one of EVERYTHING they had, but I bought one of MOST. 🫣
Omg. This Kinokuniya exclusive Art of TGCF book is sooooooo pretty and it came with goodies!!!
Successful book shopping! Dinner of book buying champion…. 😍🥰
My cat is cuddled up to the sunshine / cuddled up to the fire? I dunno where he even got this stuffed campfire from but he dragged it to his favorite sunshine charging spot.
Cat pillow has gotten a goth cat pillow friend for the season.
Today is a good book day!! - Wing & Claw editions arrived - A Nothing Special goodie box from @katiecandraw.bsky.social - Received #6 in the Deluxe printing of HOB - And I’m going to finally open the WM album by XZ. Maybe. (There’s books inside I’m afraid my kids will heist when I open it.)
My cat’s so vain, I bet she thinks this pillow is about her…
Throw back to when I worked in a brick and mortar office. One afternoon half the staff left for lunch on a boat and sent us a pic. Those of us left behind responded with our own boat pic. I sometimes miss shenanigans like this. But I also love working from home in my PJS. ❤️
Spent some time in the calligraphy exhibit at the DIA today. ❤️🖌️
Playing “what cup does this saucer go to” this morning…. It looks like I’m staging an estate sale! Which, in a way, I guess I sorta am.
