🌄 Star Stags 🌌 I was very inspired by the Tuva Republic petroglyphs, two of the little stag depictions are copies (first two, top left) while the rest are my own drawings. I'm very keen on getting this design printed on tote bags if there was interest! :)

the old tariffs i've dealt with being replaced by "forced labour tariffs" as an excuse to push through trump's latest threats is so ridiculous, like ah yes the nation famously know to utilize modern slavery with incarcerated people and treating migrant workers like trash sure is teaching me a lesson
Doing an online store update tomorrow at 1pm est with some leftover ceramics work after my last market and some other new products!
just confirming that the shop update with my leftover market ceramics and some other products is indeed this coming Monday, 1pm est! I'll be trying out my first online store newsletter once I'm done updating the stock listings as well as make an official post :)
🧵 thread of places to donate to aid indigenous wildfire evacuees in northern Ontario, and to help them rebuild. the fires are still going strong and links will be updated if I find other places accepting donations, or heaven forbid, other communities are impacted
A great place to donate to First Nations groups affected by the ongoing wild fires 👇
two of the critters that will be available via my online store early next week along with some new stickers, prints, and other unsold work from in person vending including my ceramic magnets and dishes!
I did find my first baby monarch caterpillar of the season on my milkweed patch in terms of gentler news

Tried out some slip inlays for fun, definitely learned it's best to do it at a larger scale since it's hard to get the proper carving depth on tiny details without overdoing the line thickness - touchups had to be made after carving off the slip but I'm very interested in pursuing inlays further 👀
anyways, love having a smoke induced sepia filter over everything outside that's likely going to get worse before it gets better. So much for going outdoors to destress. Can we start ripping apart oil executives and tech billionaires in the streets yet 🫠
This new normal of countrywide wildfires as far as the subarctic every summer is already heart breaking enough but oh my god Americans being royally pissed by it affecting them too and telling us to just put them out already or spreading conspiracy theories while people lose everything is so tiring
I also managed to get a photo of my vending setup from yesterday! It went very well, perfect weather, and met lots of sweet people! (was also dressed like a gay park ranger, not seen: shorts and lace up boots with socks poking out to go with the open crown wool felt hat)
So turns out the local print shop I go to does posters and stuff for TennoCon (Digital Extremes' studio is in my city) and last week when I was picking up an order I was sooo tempted to ask them if they had any extras I could give to my husband but alas I held my tongue 😪
Ceramic magnets; part of my stock for the Hamilton Art Crawl tomorrow! :) 📍Hamilton, ON, James Street North between York Blvd to Murray St East, 5pm-11pm
So I was picking the pantone colour swatches for -redacted project-, I find what I need on an unofficial site - all but one warm white because I keep on getting ugly ass cloud dancer white pantone 2026 colour of the year. No luck on the pantone colour swatches page of my ripped copy of illustrator
Some more critters from earlier in the spring! A few more posts and I'll finally, briefly, be caught up on the sold work backlog 😅 #ceramics #sculpture
scanned in some silver dollar and pipefish derived fishies from the sketchbook and added some colour, I figured these would make fun stickers with a holo effect if people were interested! 🐟
actually ended up being grateful for the kiln firing delay because we went from 20% chance of rain to heavy rain and a tornado warning so needless to say having to only tear down a single tent and table set up early was much preferred over a tent and two tables with a shitload of ceramics 😅
Some new trinket dishes all set to go for the Forest and Found artisan market at Side Launch Brewing today! #ceramics #horseshoecrab #ptarmagin
there was a kiln firing delay this week and while it's being loaded and fired at some point today, it takes 2 days from start to finish so it means I'll only have 23 pieces instead of 51 for the ceramic part of my booth for vending tomorrow
Some ceramic candle holder sets for the Forest and Found artisan market at Side Launch Brewery this Saturday! I'll have lots of other ceramic goodies, art prints, pins, etc.! :) 📍695 Sovereign Road, London, ON ⌚ 12 - 6 PM
