Over 20 years of larger-than-life puppet wizardry in North Carolina! Come see us perform or book us for a show, parade, commission or workshop! www.paperhandpuppet.org
Our work revolves around our love for the earth and all beings - & that includes immigrants. We believe that we need to eradicate greed, hate and fear - which we are seeing at a heightened level. We will do what we can to use our art & our platforms to protect immigrants, because they belong here.
We had a great time at #FirstNightRaleigh last week! Find us at the Mardi Gras Parade in Downtown New Bern, NC at 10:30am on Valentine's Day!
#ASHEVILLE! We're a month out from our run of shows at Wortham Center for the Performing Arts on November 7-9! Can you help us sell these shows out? Tell your friends and family in Western NC to come see The Gift! Tickets: bit.ly/TheGiftAshev...
@paperhandpuppet.org ❤️❤️❤️ Best show ever
@paperhandpuppet.org's 25th anniversary follows NC (and them, specifically) getting hammered by water from Helene and Chantal over the past year. Yet ... water remains "The Gift" (this year's show) we all depend on, represented in puppetry at the Forest Theater.
No one owns the Water. No one owns the Land. No one owns the sand. These are given by Our Mother. The Planet provides for Free. Only by the hands of the Greedy does the Earth require a Fee 🌺
If you have some $ to put toward amazing & generative art: @paperhandpuppet.org - they "strive to nurture the best in humanity, build creative culture, and help celebrate and protect the natural world" and got messed up by a tropical storm earlier this month. www.paperhandpuppet.org/flood-recovery
