I just got back from a long trip around the world to Turkey, Thailand, and Japan, and what I can't shake is the feeling that the US is a backwards country with no sense of a collective society. Coming back here after being in Japan for a week just makes me notice so much that's wrong.

We tried to show them after the last surrender. There's no sense in trying to convince them anymore. Primaries are the only path to a fighting opposition party now.
