In yet another ParaChu side quest, the college I work at installed some arcade machines and I’m working to get a record that my coworkers won’t be able to beat on Galaga. Progress is steady but I’m having to memorize challenge levels again. Now I just the people I’m competing with to actually play.
If I had a nickel for every time I was in a ProChara video or short this week I’d have two nickels.
ParaChu First online username was Paratroopa201, everyone called me Para. Decided I wanted a more unique name so kept the Para and just added Chu on a whim. No it has nothing to do with Pikachu. Why is the C capitalized? Readability? Quirkiness? Idk ask 14 year old me why that decision was made.

Played pretty well in winners side of baha blast but idk how to fight a team that just paint spams better than bow. I guess I just gotta work on hitting my shots so I can kill those players reliably. Bow still feels like it'll pay off if I keep committing to it.
I don't really share Beatblock things on here much but I got a pure perfect on one of the harder levels in the game and I am incredibly proud of it :D Very good rhythm game y'all should look into it if you like the genre.
I've been struggling to play Splatoon for more than like 20 minutes before I get too tired to focus on it. I even had all week off from work and I'm struggling to lock in in 1700 x rank.
Sometimes when you’re down in a set all you gotta do is take 2 minutes to put the controller down and take a breather to go get water and do hand stretches.
Everyone says "we should just use x power instead of results" but never actually explains why, and I think I've found one of the bigger reasons why we should (mostly) convert (as a "D4" 2200 XP NA peak player who didn't enjoy X rank for the longest time) Thread below 🧵

So apparently my greatest fear right now is losing my 100 hour co-op vintage story save because I just woke up in a cold sweat due to a nightmare that ended with me panicking in the dream that I lost my save. That was GENUINELY a terrifying dream lmao.

Ungodly hour to be awake but the other option was to get home at 2 am tomorrow. Just made it through TSA.
Lackluster bracket performance at Momocon today HOWEVER, we had a retired s2 player sub for us on a whim today and said player is gonna come back to competing so they can play at riptide because they had a good time playing with us today so I count that as a win.
Had to buy new jeans on the way to the Little Rock Airport for Momocon lmao. Curse of living in a small town with no places to buy jeans my size.

Pika@pikadave465.bsky.social · 3mo agoMy (least) favorite example is how I see every skill level on museum when they're in disadvantage/lockout just spam ZR off of the respawn pad straight down the center of spawn. It's so rare to see a team consistently *also* leverage top left for that high ground off-angle to clear spinner safely
